Yoga and Ayurveda

If you practice Yoga, Ayurveda is the perfect compliment to Living Healthy in 2014.

Yoga and Ayurveda together offer an integrated approach to a healthy and productive life that is unique and traditional.

Practicing Yoga is natural and effective. The poses within Yoga, Meditation and pranayama deal primarily with maintaining our body and managing the mind to bring mental balance.

Although Yoga is a big part of a healthy body, it is only part of the equation while striving for total balance.

When Ayurveda is added to the practice of Yoga the entire system can be nurtured because of their complimentary support of one another.

Ayurveda Supports Yoga with its maintenance of the body and Ayurveda support Yoga with dietary and lifestyle guidelines.

Ayurveda brings all of the systems together with the addition of cleansing and detoxification practices

The two together are a perfect model for complete health.

The introduction of Ayurvedic principles in relation to yoga is a natural progression that is seamlessly integrated into class time because Ayurveda is simple; it makes sense and it works.
